The „For Diversity. Against Discrimination“ campaign was initiated by the European Commission and is running since 2003. New legislations have been introduced in the European Union during that time. The member states incorporated EU anti-discrimination legislation into their national laws. The purpose is to prevent citizens from being discriminated. At the same time, the campaign tried to raise awareness of the issue of discrimination and highlighted the benefits of diversity.

There were a lot of changes for everyone. What impact have these laws had on all of us living in Europe? How did they affect you personally? How do you experience diversity in everyday life?
