Do I need to provide the actual file of the document that I want to recommend?
No. If you do not have the file you can recommend it by providing the source (i.e. the website URL).
What happens once I have recommended a document?
After you have recommended a document we will screen your submission. Please understand that the time to do this can vary. The recommended document will be published online if it conforms to the criteria defined for the document library.
What if the document that I wish to recommend is available in more than one language?
If the document that you would like to recommend is available in more than one language, please enter the document data in the form and upload the document in one language version. After sending your recommendation you will be asked if you would like to upload the file in any other languages. You will now only have to enter the document title and short description again. This procedure can be repeated until all language versions are submitted.
Do I need to be the author of the document or have the necessary permission for it to be published?
The stop-discrimination team will always ask the document author or editor for permission to publish it on the website. If you are the author of the document you will receive an e-mail to request your permission to publish the document on the stop-discrimination website.
Why are you asking me to provide my name and e-mail address?
If you have affirmed yourself to be the author of the document we will use the e-mail address provided to request your permission to publish the document. If you are not the author of the document we will need your e-mail addresses in case of further questions.
What if the document that I wish to recommend is not in the file types required (.doc, .pdf, .atw)?
If the document you want to recommend is not available in any of the required formats (.doc, .pdf, .atw), please send us the file by e-mail and we will upload it in the required format, if possible.
What do I do if I wish to recommend a document that is only available in print (i.e. not on the web or as a file)?
If you cannot upload the document, please provide the source (i.e. magazine or newspaper title). If you are recommending a book, please put in the title of the book as source.
